Our “one-click, one-turn” tactical roguelite Day of the Shell is releasing on July 29th on all platforms — PC (via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, PS4 & PS5, and Xbox One & Series!

We can't wait for you to play the full version! But in the meantime, to give you a glimpse of the gameplay, we just released a Prologue including:

1 world, 13 islands to explore
2 weapons: revolver and crossbow
9 blessings and 12 relics to combine
7 runes to permanently improve the Huntress’s passive skills

Black screen instead of Main Menu after crash

Played for 20-30 minutes and then the game crashed while I was in a red area (jumped into a red circle instead of the usual blue. No idea the difference since the UI didn't mentioned anything, but tried it out anyway). After I started the game again, I get the usual first intro slides (publisher logo etc) but once the main menu is suppose to show, I just get a black screen and can't do anything. Any advice how to proceed? I tried to uninstall and install the game several times, but the issue with the bl...

Demo wont open

is demo period finished already? I only get Black screen when opening Demo i manage to play it last night for few mins and I like to experience more but when opening today, shows duper > goblin publishing.. then black screen - check cloud updated - check properties > installed files > all 406 files successfully validated - reboot PC reload steam all my other games works ok...

demo feedback

i just tried the demo and it is awesome. cant wait to play the full game. i appreciate that it works on steam deck. the only thing that was missing was a way to rotate the camera.
