Game breaking bug

I'm at the Ritual Room I had previously had the door opened & ended up needing to restart from an earlier save after being stuck in the room with all the barrels (don't try to use the stairs). I've retraced my steps only to have the Ritual Room door remain open from the earlier point. I am unable to enter the room since the objective still says "Use the code on the door". I've hit reset & even closed the door manually & reentered the code. I don't see a way around it other than going back to a save befor...

I Break the game Help

after the chase i get to the alktar of ritual but because i cliked wihtout wanting i think out of screen a paper floated and hardlocked the game making i cant make anything else an also after closing and opening the game when i hit continue or charge a precious checkpoint the game doesnt start well it just make the rain sound and after 2 minutes it stops bnut it doenst charge the game it stays static on the loading screen...

I'd like to start off by saying Thank You to NebulaNova Games for the code to try out their game. For a small dev team they've managed to keep the tension up while not overdoing the jump scares, to me it's just the right amount and had me on the edge of my seat in complete terror. If you're looking for a quick horror game to stream or just enjoy a scare the price point is on par with what I've seen of the game.

There are some bugs that I encountered and unfortunately was unable to finish the game on my current save file so I'll have to set a time to restart from a fresh run and hopefully can make it through.

I do not recommend this game at this current state. On boot, my cpu went immediately to 100%, making my pc unusable until I had to turn every setting to medium/low (and I can run demanding AAA games at high settings with no problem). The mouse sensitivity is also too high even at the lowest setting, you can't go lower. The jumpscares are too cheap, there are some commendable ones that catch you off-guard, but most of them gets old real quick.

The story has a lot of plot holes, it gets very confusing to the point that I stopped paying attention to it in the middle of the game. Most of the objects are also too big, making the character seem small in comparison, and I feel like most of the objects textures are just copy pasted and took no effort at all.

I could go on and on about all the negatives in this game, but for now, I don't recommend playing this game at all, or buying this at full price, or even buying this at all. It seems like the dev just wants quick money for 0 effort.
