In Dragonfall, I put 1 karma into Spellcasting, because it allows me to get the +2 Armor spell.
In Hong Kong, I put it into Conjuring instead to equip an item that gives +1 Charisma.
arent in practice those options need to be backed by high level of skill checks too? iirc otherwise you'll know something's going on but won't be able to do much with it...
You can be a good fighter and have good talking skills too, it's just harder to satisfy everything in the beginning. By the end of the game, my character had (gear bonus included) :
- 5 Body
- 11 Quickness
- 8 Ranged Combat
- 8 Rifle
- 7 Strength
- 7 Intelligence
- 6 Decking
- 5 Charisma (6 at first)
