Fixed Multiplayer Issue

Hello!

Some players experienced a bug with the multiplayer not working in certain regions - we were able to track the cause and have amended the build.

Multiplayer issues

Two players works most of the time. But with three players we had multiple issues, regardless of who was hosting. 1. 3rd player could join but did not see the green circles to insert their player piece. 2. Saw the circles, but after moving their piece fell through the table and disappeared. 3. Green circles were visible, but would not allow 3rd player to place piece....

It's time for an E-Goop party. NEON Squad Tactics is a finalist at the 2024 AGDAs, to be held in our home town of Melbourne during International Games Week!

It's an absolute honour to be included alongside many other amazing Australian-made games. You can check out the full list of all the finalists here[agdas.com.au].

We'll be launching the PC version of NEON Squad Tactics on September 18th, and will be demoing the game and selling merchandise during PAX Australia in October!

NEON Squad Tactics has just released on the Meta Quest Store, so we are finally able to post our new release trailer that includes our incredible new theme tune, composed and sung by Monster Mansion!

We're currently developing a PCVR version of NEON Squad Tactics, which will see a release on Steam in a few months time. If you love turn-based tactics games and love VR, then we would love it if you could wishlist and spread the neon love.

Played it on Quest 3, observations

There's a lot this game does right. It's roughly similar to Demeo in many ways but a much larger focus on ranged attacks, and has weapon trees/purchasable gear and so on. In it's current form I'd probably give it a 3.5 out of 5. It's bones are there and they function but this game desperately needs a polishing pass or two. For example, the tutorial levels do a decent job of getting you started on combat and the ways the barrier & shield systems work as well as a basic electronic and acid atta...
