How to unlock other characters?

Does anybody know how to unlock the additional characters?

Play Endless labyrinth, unlock Morg thru playing with Robin n getting 2000 tiles, Next Char play as Morg and get 3000 tiles... im guessing 4000 next etc etc, always use the "new" char for the next unlock

I hit a brickwall with the skeleton... cant get him off the ground :,(

While I love that you don't have to rely on playing the Story mode to unlock characters but can do it through Labyrinth mode, it hit me hard when the third character I unlocked was Robin. Nothing but an alternative Robin skin with the identical stats to the original.

So of the 6 unlockable characters, how many are unique characters with their own stats and how many are simply new skins of previously unlocked characters?

I know for a fact that characters after Robins new clothing (3rd one, maybe Morg is diffrent in stats?) is designed to be harder/diffrent to play. Less equipment slots, not being able to use magic, not being able to use weapons, not being able to heal normally etc etc. So just keep on unlocking for that extra difficulty :)
