can't find thick shell?

anyone know where i find it? or where i buy it from

for me it says I can buy it from a merchant in Ginormosia, otherwise it looks like it drops from two monsters in the Treasure Grove. Idk what monsters drop it, I have only done one Treasure Grove and made it to 100. A user on Reddit says it drops from Fortises in Moltana Wastes, but the area needs to be level 3 for them to spawn. Idk if that is true but I am gonna test it out.

It drops from Fortoises in treasure groves. They’re like the steel turtle boss from the islands but mini.

Fortoises do indeed spawn in Moltana Wastes in Ginomorsia at Rank 3+, and they do drop Thick Shells.

These spawn just nearby the Tower, so if you want to farm Thick Shells, you can just keep changing the rank each time you kill them.

You'll also need to kill the Flame Panthers here at Rank 5+ for later claw items.

i can't find them i went through the whole map

I found them in the vulcano area once the area rank was I think 3. Just a bit east and north east of the tower.

Aren't they also dropped by the boss turtle in Tropica Isles? Near the north part of the map, the huge circle island.
Unless I am confusing them with another boss turtle

I thought the boss turtle dropped a different shell.

Keep grinding/playing the areas to earn area XP, then go to tower to config them. Also the game has a info/guides section =)

Yeah, at the eye towers you can change the rank of the area. And by doign any task in the area you get area EXP. And completing those mini events you get a big bunch of EXP and the quicker you complete them the more you get.
