Trying the Tutorial, how does it work?

I am new to this game and thought I would first try the Tutorial to get a feel of the game. It says to fire my first booster and there is not one. I attached a burger stand but I can not find any thing to fire. I can build inside the habitat ring and that is all..What am I missing. is there a seconded ship some place? Right click left click hit every key on the keyboard..Please can someone help me..

Normally you would attach a booster to your ship, like you did with the burger stand, and then you could activate it (by clicking on it) to complete the step. However, the boosters seem to be missing from the tutorial now...

In the Tutorial all there is there is the burger stand, and a lot of empty space. The game looks nothing like the video. The thing I have to fly around with is a big round ring. Then if I go into the game I need it to build any thing. I can build away from it but it does nothing.

So is there no solution to this for now other than not doing the tutorial?

I just got the game and the tutorial is not registering me using the wsad, +/-, or mouse wheel. How the heck is this not working when the game's been out for 6 years?
