Alternate way: you can try set Software video mode in settings before playing, then set Direct3D when in game.
If you still have no menus and no HUD, in Advanced menu choose "Enable triple buffering" and "Always specify these command-line parameters".
If you have more than one core in your PC (i think you do), create a text file and paste this:
@echo off cd "<your game path here>" start /affinity 1 Blood2.exe exit
where "your game path here" is location of your Blood 2 game. Then rename extension to .BAT , and place it in game folder. Then run it, i think this helps."
Read the forums for your problem before making a new thread on the same topic.
None of those things did anything for me either. It's also worth noting that in order for a BAT file to work, it has to be called on by another file, or directly by the user, which would require a specific file name to be set, then established in another file (typically another BAT or EXE) as a file needed during the startup process.
At what point did you offer that sort of help in your snide comment? Maybe, instead of assuming someone isn't following forum etiquette that has been around since just after Billboard days, you could simply answer the question or post a link to said forum post.
That, or don't reply since it was pretty obvious you had no intention of helping/answering and going about your day without trying to be the wiseguy.
Part of the reason why people get as angry about these things as they do, are because of responses like that. It would have actually taken you less time to simply paste a link to a post that helps, or ignore this post and go on with your life. And yes, I do see and understand the irony in my statement combined with my post response and length.
