Seriously, if i have to love any furry character, its gotta be Captain Claw!
Btw, Both Shogo and Blood 2 work flawlessy on my main PC and Laptop, i finished them both last year.
If only someone knew who owns the rights to NOLF.
BTW Shogo is owned by Interplay not Atari
I don't think valve likes monolith, they've held them back from success every time they put out something as awesome as shogo
But is Night Dive going to have NOLF 1-2 & Contract JACK on steam?
As have I, and both games run without issue on modern OS.
Any issues, with crashes, flickering UI, can be fixed by adjusting/tweaking settings in the games launcher.
But, as said above, Blood 2/Shogo are both more likely to crash when attemping to run a widescreen resolution.
Yes, Blood 2 was released in a very buggy state. Came from being released on a brand new/unfinished engine, and being rushed out to meet an October/Halloween release.
But, the following patches fixed the issues.
And with the right tweaking both games run fine.
Valve has very little to do with Monolith's games appearing on STEAM.
The main reason is simply due to the fact that Lith has worked with so many different publishers over the years.
Shogo was self published by Lith. So, getting it on STEAM is up to Warner Bros, as they took ownership of the IP when they bought Monolith.
Chances are, it won't appear on STEAM. I would love for it to, but it's slim.
Other titles... Aliens VS Predator 2.
This is entirely in the hands of the publisher. As, developed by Lith, it's not listed on Lith's website under their games.
Same with TRON 2.0. Developed by Lith, but not listed on their web site as the publisher (Buena Vista/Disney) isn't Warner Bros.
Most of Monolith's titles getting digital releases is completely up in the air as it has to be a mutual agreement between WB and the publisher who originally put the game out.
And, as for "holding them back from success"... that's a rather ignorant statement.
The only Lith titles not on STEAM are their older "Pre-STEAM days" releases. Such as Shogo, NOLF series, TRON 2.0 and AvP2.
Lol, looks like you have the double pack with Septerra Core then. The only time interplay had anything to do with Shogo is when they published it in that one pack.
+ 1 about No One Lives Forever series on Steam
But at least deal about steamworks and stuff for those... please devs. Do it so.
Doesn't the Matrix Online require a monthly cost?
