Hello everyone!

Recently, I've been working on a really exciting new feature.

You can now play mini games with a REAL GUITAR in Double Whammy.

Any audio input works on Windows - USB audio interface, microphone, and other guitar game cables. More testing is required for microphones, but direct cable connections seem to work well at this moment.

Additional mini-games and guitar practice modes are on the roadmap for this feature.

I'm hard at work on the rest of the game as well. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long to get your hands on the game 🤘🤘

This game wouldn't exist without Unreal Engine, and the support from the MegaGrant is a very meaningful boost for development.

I'll be polishing the custom guitar designer, guitar shop, and dream realm gameplay...

And hopefully the game will be in your hands soon! 🤘🤘

October Development Update!

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to share a quick update on Double Whammy!

Development has been going smoothly, and I've added some fun new content and improvement recently:

New Guitar Shop Mini-Games:
- Acoustic guitar pick retrieval
- Guitar pedal selling mini-game
Improved guitar rendering
Online leaderboard for the rhythm game
New dream levels themed around guitar amps & effect pedals
Various bug fixes and optimizations

I've also partnered with Blue Ocean Games, whose support will help make Double Whammy more fun and polished.

I'm genuinely excited about this game. Just as a random suggestion, I saw in one video that there were some tabs, I think the 2d static way tabs are displayed in Rocksmith+ (the new version) would serve as a cool inspiration for a way to improve the one shown in video. It's 2d and colorful but without too complex bells and whistles. Also imagine uploading some tabs to the game and then playing or something like that....

I absolutely love the concept of this game. The UI and gameplay mechanics are highly unique, and I'm genuinely excited about its future development.
