8 Sq miles, and it's densely packed unlike how Fc3 had islands I'd say it has plenty to offer. Looking forward to the game after reviewing the leaked map.

well it's the same with land it looks smaller because there was a lot of water between the first island and the second

There's a ton to do. As stated before, the map is the same size as Far Cry 3, but there is a lot more to do and interact with.

It's pretty much the same size as 3. Granted, the one in 3 looks bigger because of the empty sea between the two islands, the one in 4 is just one big mass and more interconnected which is rather nice, chances are no more story locks for where we can go which is a plus.
