So will the Steam installed version interfere with the WarGames Game Center ? I assume I don't need to do anything or should I uninstall the Game Center version ?
So GOG does actually have multiplayer ? I don't even see the option that I can tell. I assume they want me to buy something but there doesn't seem to be any instruction to unlock or purchase anything like this anyhow.
I assume the Steam version community is larger then the Game Center version and that's why better to go with the Steam version for multiplayer ?
Please tell thanks.
However, with NO multiplayer participation it is not really a multiplayer option other then a multiplayer button. I know the option is there but without participants it is not really there except in spirit if that's the right way to frame it.
Anyhow, I know I would enjoy playing multiplayer and learned in single player mode free version on WarGames Game Center download. I specifically hoped for multiplayer game play but that doesn't seem to be available unless I or someone organizes some multiplayer gaming on Steam somehow.
Does Master of Orion 3 suffer the same subject ? Just curious
Thanks all for the responses.
There should be no issues. These two service clients downloads their respective game version in a separate folder.
Yes, the GOG version does offer multiplayer if you run it via GOG Galaxy.
I think you might have mixed up the GOG and Wargaming Game Center (WGC) version. These are separate services and the WGC version is single player only. It is more like a stand-alone bonus for players who have unlocked it during giveaway events in Wargaming's other products such as World of Tanks or World of Warships, which are also launched via WGC. Still, the GOG version likely has a smaller playerbase than Steam, due to the latter service being more popular.
Yeah about that, I wouldn't expect there to be pub games at any time open for anyone to casually join. The game is unfortunately not that popular. You will need to ask around to find others that are interested in playing with you. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Yes. I have no ideas how often people play that game online, but it does have its fans. As usual one will need to look around on the internet to find one or a group to play with.
I'll have to repurchase. I am learning on the freebie version in the GameCenter now, but perhaps would still be worth organizing something.
One thing I don't really understand with single player is that the computer fleets appear to already be hugely built and not starting at the same point as I am.
So I build for a while but eventually they just come in and kill each other off then eventually attack and take me out.
I'm not sure how to avoid being attacked before building up my fleet. I can't attack anyone, their all over powered already and I can't seem to scout and get resources fast enough before being attacked by a huge fleet with 1000's of attack power.
