Dauntless guidance system question
Is it supposed to affect torpedoes in addition to missiles?
After I equipped my battleships with both anti-matter torpedoes and the DGS, I witnessed several instances where a torpedo volley would destroy a target with the first few projectiles, then the rest of them would just seemingly "bounce" from it to the nearest one.

well, Torpedoes are normally unguided. They're just traveling at a line.
You have to give them the semi--guided mod, so they have some limited homing capacity.

Idk.

I forgot to mention above that the torpedoes in question were completely unmodded.

No, DGG only affects rockets. You would think it would also affect torpedoes, but you'd be wrong.

Torpedoes are currently...weird. I've literally had them shoot in a circle on the wrong side and do absolutely nothing before. Even with semi-guided and fast, they aren't effective on anything faster than a battleship.

Torpedoes just do weird things. They fire in an arc, they change direction mid-flight without mods, they travel through ships, they're just completely worthless sometimes. Not that this kind of stuff happens all the time, though the circle firing in a hopelessly wrong direction is fairly common.
