Logitech G910 keyboard
I found an old thread from April on this, but nothing newer.

I have a G910 and this game turns off all of the key backlighting. If I alt-tab, the lighting comes back. If I deselect the "Allow games to control illumination", the backlighting comes back.

Why does MOO want to turn off my keyboard backlighting? Now I have to remember to turn the system back on so that games like GTA-V can use the lighting to great effect.

1st world problems, I know. But it *IS* a bug.

Weird, I am using a G910 as well but I don't have any issues. I'll see if we can figure it out. Are you using the latest Logitech LGS version? Any other peripherals (I have a 502 mouse and 933 headsets)?

I have a G502 mouse, a G700s wireless mouse, and a G430 Headset. All of these are hooked up to the PC, but the wireless mouse is switched off (I only use it for one particular application).

I just checked for udates and it is, in fact, up-to-date.

EDIT.

Some more info: Now the backlighting will not come back when I alt-tab. I have to close the game to get my backlighting back. I use a custom backlighting scheme, and none of the effects.

The backlighting does not drop until AFTER the initial cinematic, when the game says "Master of Orion loading please wait".

I guess I will just keep the "Allow games to control illumination" check box unchecked for the time being.

In case it matters, I am on Windows 10 with the aniversary update.

Same issue with my G19 - MoO is disabling the backlights while running. After closing MoO the lights switch back on. The bug was installed into the game in EA2, and solved with Release version, but now it is in the game again?! Someone possibly used old code?
Sorry to ressurect an old threads, but I haven't fouind a newer one. Please add an option to disable the g910 lighting, or at least default the lighting to a low illumination level vs off. I know I can disable the "Allow Games to Control Lighting" setting in the Logitech Gaming Software but then it disables the lighting for all my games and not just MOO which is what I want to do.

I also have a keyboard g910 because I play mainly at night & dim light very low because I like to be immersed in my games!!
& still no patch 1 year later for this bug ???
Do you expect to solve the problem one day when you do not care about your players ??:Lacerator::Lacerator::Lacerator:

Well it will be a refund steam & play cracked then,
because I will not give money to devs who do not listen to their community!!!!
