Actually I just managed to queue up 2 doom stars for myself. Hopefully I'll be able to build them. It only "glitched in" one extra though. If it helps for troubleshooting purposes, when I first saw the 2nd doom star it was called "doom star." I renamed my doom star the "Class 6 Kill." (What? They give such a paltry amount of name characters I couldn't name it "Class 6 Planet Blaster." XD) Also it "glitched in" within the item-build selection screen after double-clicking my own "Class 6 Kill."
EDIT: Correction. Once it "glitched in" I could add infinite doom stars to the queue as the icon for it remains in the build selection screen. I simply have to keep double-clicking it to add more instances to the queue... Another note is that I'd started building a doom star in a different system, then this planet's industry got full "online" and had a better build time, so I canceled the one at the first system and reselected it at the 2nd one. Maybe something to do with holding an item that's already been started?
EDIT: Last note... You can queue up all the doom stars you want, but after the first one is complete, the queue empties of doom stars. So it's more of a cosmetic glitch and the human player is still restricted to a single doom star... Pity- would be interesting to have multiple doom stars on both sides battling it out.
