Doom Star Issue

Is there some restriction to be able to build doom stars after you have researched the requisite tech? I am building one on one worlds but do not get the option to build one on my homeworld. Any idea why? Running Spud Dastardly's mods.

Doom stars are restricted to 1 active pr Empire, u lose ur Doom Star u May build a new one though :)

Wow it sure would be nice is the game mentioned that rule... *anywhere*. I don't even recall seeing it in the unofficial MOO manual.

Doomstar spam would be ridiculously awesome.
One of those things that would be interesting if added but totally fine without it.

while i agree they should have a limit on doomstars.. it should be more then 1.. perhaps the fleet acadamy could add 1 more.. 2 seems sound

I thought there was a glitch in the patch that allowed people to have more than one. So since you are running a mod, that could be why it's over riding the abality to to make more than one.

I could be wrong, my games always seem to end before I get there.
