Please Please devs make the fonts bigger. At least comment on it, since the silence is defening over this topic.
I think it is a hard job. Reading on the Distant Worlds forum about this matter, the Devs said they would try and make the fonts bigger but is a very hard job to do. I don't remember if they ever did it or not. Usually the devs are good at talking about stuff, so surprised that nothing here is mentioned, UNLESS they did comment on it and I didn't read it or forgot they said anything about this.
How about then iif you can't make the font bigger, you add in a magnifying glass of some sorts? Maybe holding a certian key say the K key or what ever is not being used and what shows up in the mouse pointer inlarges that area a bit so if we see something that is too small for us to read in my case the distances of a ship will move, we put the mouse over the number hit K and a small pop up shows with that area a bit bigger and we can the fonts bigger then.
Something that is like on iPad when reading articles or what not. It's not the perfect sollution but then I would believe you can bypass the driver and Unity issues since you are not trying to make the fonts bigger but we can select what to make bigger for our reading then.
