Do the major mods require the pack?

Will you miss content without the pack beside the opportunity for having enabled the three factions? Are the three factions present without the pack?

No major mods require the pack as far as I'm aware. The only thing you miss are the three races themselves. Even their race traits can be duplicated through custom races, so all you miss out on are the skins and voice acting basically. The three factions aren't present without the pack except perhaps in a multiplayer match with someone with the DLC.

I guess there are none.

Maybe if I like this MoO, I go for the pack.

It's cool and ads diversity to the game. Perhaps wait for a sale. Worth it.
