Collector's Edition Upgrade

Can someone explain to me exactly what this is and how it works? I want the four other races and only got the basic game plus the revenge of the antares packs as a gift.

I run steam on my mac and have no windows computer. The upgrade shows only a windows symbol. Yet when I look at package info 2 out of the 3 games show a mac symbol. If I buy the upgrade do I still get the 4 other races? I saw someone else ask this but it never got answered.

The other 3 races are in the Antares DLC. Make sure you get the bundle, not buy them individually.

I appologize for possibly sounding rude but I don't understand anything you sent me. I'll restate my original post a bit differently, maybe that'll help. For christmas a friend got me the game as well as the Antares DLC package. I believe he only got the standard game as it didn't come with anything like what you mention above.

However thanks to you, I did find out I hadn't actually activated my Antares gift and did that so now I have those three races. Now I just am curious about the Terran Khanate. I would like to have them as well. So again I ask if buying the upgrade, which is marked as windows only in the steam store, would unlock the Terran Khanate for my mac version of the game.

Wanted to bump this back to the top of the chain of posts. Kind of hoping one of the dev team might pop in to answer my question. Lol. Or maybe there's a mac user out there who took a chance and got the upgrade and can tell me if that unlocked the last race I need. xD

i´d say no, that´s why it states windows only... if there is a seperate MAC version of the game, "Windows only" makes pretty clear it´s not for the mac version...

Normally I'd agree with you but I did bring up how the package information shows two games that have mac markers. I've found that when my Steam is linked with another of my friend's accounts, any game they purchased for their windows computer which happens to have a mac marker, I am able to play after installing it. I wouldn't be asking this question if there were clear boundaries, which there aren't. Sure the label itself says windows only but the games in the upgrade package are a bit of a mish mash of compatibility.

hm, sorry, i can´t help you more personally... since DLCs are non-refundable it´d be a certain risk to just try it i guess... maybe if you can get it cheaper somewhere, at least it wouldnt hurt as much if it doesn´t work...

other than that, you can just try asking the wargaming support directly via E-Mail or something...

It's marked Windows only, because it includes the MOO1/2/3, all of which are for DOSBOX/Windows, but they may work on Mac in an emulator just perfectly. The Terran race and the added stuff is OS independent.
If you feel like you want the artbook and Terrans, but don't care much about the older MOOs, then go ahead and it will just work fine, but make sure that your current version of MOO on Mac is "showing" the Terrans but are disabled.
EDIT: I'm not 100% sure if Steam will allow you to install it or buy it though.
