its the economic victory condition.
you will get no dividends, cant even get a profit on resale.
you buy only to win an economic victory, or block an opponent from that victory.
42% gros galactic product means your side is controling almost half of the production
in the galaxy. its not your BC income, but total galaxtic product. I think this includes
growthrate and research as well as production... but it at least includes production.
just grow in all ways, producing more per pop and having more pop and you will
close in on economuc victory. at which point you need to buy shares to win.
but since you are rich... most likely the richest in the game you could win many ways.
by end game no one else bought many... mine were not profitable to sell still.
by endgame I had top production and the game told me I was 10 rounds from econ victory.
cause I owned >42% of shares and produced >42% GGP
I sold my shares to avoid this victory... as I was going for conquest lol. I later got bored with
the long turns and sorta regretted not winning earlier and starting a new game :/
rofl, i find if you have high enough tech advantage you can bribe people into voting for you.
to the ffuture enemy was far higher than a few BC's.
I dont want sakkra with heightened intellegence.... and sure as hell not for 200 bc's.
I fear that dealing with humans, who pay well is unwise... I strongly suspect if I sell
heightened intellegence to humans for 500, they will resell to meklar and sakkra for 250 and call
it a win.... hell they are dumb. 100 would prolly do it. then I have 3 enemys who are empowered.
not sure... the ai wants tech bad, and wont give it up for cheap. tech is a formidable bargaining
chip somehow. at least they maybe more likely to side with you, if not pay you.
