Does anyone even play on Multiplayer?

lol there is pretty big amount of people that play this game but i never see anyone playing on the multiplayer im wondering why.
and also i was wondering if anyone would like to arrange a nice game :)

I'll play you once you accumulate over 500 hours of play time. lol, get good and practice hard. I got tired of winning too much in multiplayer so I'm not that active anymore.

I know many people dont have interest in mplayer without tactical combat, also heard the turns can lag way worse in mplayer than in normal.
I havent mplayered yet, but i have no interest in deathmatch in a tbs, if they do a final patch with tactical combat for mplayer i will grab a copy for a friend and we will coop like we did in moo2.

Lol thats really nice :) i would really like to know how to play better even tho i think im a prrtty good player becuase i really understand hoe the game works but i would like to knoe more tips and ways to play better and if you can help me that would be great ^^

Try to play ultra aggressively without leaving yourself vulnerable to attack. Only practice rule is that you got to use auto combat.

For exciting single player fun if you got the skills,
get the 5X ultimate balance mod
UCP latest version mod

Set AI to impossible
Set galaxy to Huge
Set only victory condition to conquest
Use tactical combat to try to win that match.
Have fun

lol,
the developers including whatissol and spudastardly need financial crowd sourcing.
I think a development budget of around $50,000 for all active developers would be suffice with a few years of tech support.

Otherwise, they'll need to pitch in an investment of their time in hopes that having tactical combat in multiplayer will make this game successful.

It kinda sucks that they made the multiplayer in this game kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ :\ when i saw that game for the first time i really though it would be so awsome to play multiplayer on this game
but still i'd try it one day if i will find someone to play with

Currently, you're at 29 hours, right now, keep on practicing.
In multiplayer, if you're a newbie, I can wrap up the game in less than 150 turns or less than 2 hours without leaving myself vulnerable to a counterattack.

the reason this kind of game sees very little activity on-line is simple. It's MASSIVE and takes a long. long ....long long time to finish.


i'm a HUGE fan of Axis and Allies and Monopoly for table top games with good opponents


i do "ok" in this game , i'd be HAPPY to play EITHER of you. I'd PREFER (and suggest for learning the game ) a few SHORT games in small universes


technically i'm more of a "co-Op" player by nature (thus my FPS game of choice is Borferlands)

while i may not be super experienced for the MOO crowd (this game gas been around for a loooong time and has SCARY EXPERTS)...i will point out THIS to you (to show i'm both friendly AND "ok good"...

this is for TWO reasons:

1) i hold the world's record for most hours in both Borderlands 2 and a screwly little demolition racing game

2) i'm only kinda sorta maybe a BIT of a jerk...a serious jerk would have NO friends...lol

just to be clear i'm uhhh...what you call "disabled" (i was still a 'gimp" before i got hurt tho...lol)

so this means i'm available pretty much any time of night or day !

it uhhhh....ALSO means when i'm ill i sometimes leave a game like this running just for those times i wake up in the middle of the night (several times a night).....so UNLIKE WF or BL2 where i will defend my hours and my honor to the death (really that's a short walk from here...heheheh) in MOO i freely admit that my AFK hrs are almost a whopping 50 %.....not much i can DO about that tbh :)

but i'm pretty sure the more than a YEAR (real time) i have in BL 2 should more than make up in "raw determination points"

I'D BE STOKED TO PLAY BOTH OF YOU (however YOU like)

so here's my plan:

just let me know what "times' you like to play at (some clue as to your time zone would help...lol. I organize international events in WF allll the time.....so just letting me know what CONTINENT you live on should suffice :)

meanwhile i will "find" a couple friend slots (this is temporary....honest i actually KNOW all those people)

from there i can give you my Teamspeak IP (it's free to download if you don't have it already and cheap mics are available at any "dollar store" (i can remember when they were called "dime stores" btw)...lol.
