Things Missing After Update

So my husband and I took a break to go have dinner. We came back just now, apparently there was an update while we were away--and all the stuff we built is gone. My husband was back on the tutorial island, and it looks like the stamina upgrade we got there might also be gone.

We don't want to try building stuff again until we're sure this won't happen a second time, so for the time being we have to stop playing. You might want to take a look at this ASAP.

Edit: It seems like the buildings might be staying. We tried building something and logging out, then back in, and it stayed. However, the quest Cannonball self completed without us actually doing the tasks.

Same, buildings were missing and when i loaded up the game again, the Cannonball quest self completed for me. I also respawned back at the beginning of the game and the cache on the first island is marked as ??? in my TAB. Also B doesn't allow me to build on my home tree :(

Another problem we just encountered...I was mining can scraps, and it said they were going into my inventory, but they didn't. So we can't build a necessary tool for moving forward.

Yeah some of this happened for me too. Not only is my house missing, but the build option is totally gone. The Cannonball quest self-completed for me, and the cache I completed on Sunrise Island also isn't marked finished. There was also a point I couldn't climb anything. I exited and restarted and that fixed that issue, but after doing so that was when I had the quest complete, cache marker, and building issues.

Same thing with me - same with cannonball quest as well. Guess I'll start a new play through and hope this doesn't keep happening

Just encountered the same issue, the host of the game got stuck and disconnected - we all got back in and the base we were working on disappeared, build option is completely gone and the lotsa land bird is stuck inside the rock he was on so we can't talk to him. time to start a new save ):

exactly the same for me. I was about to do Mollys Quest but didn't receive the map. There also was no dig spot anywhere. When I tried to restart I was suddenly at the starting Island... and you guys know the rest Y.Y
