This should explain just about everything, if not, head on over to our discord, happy to help you out!One of the bigger things we’re doing is taking another look at our Wielders, giving them new specializations, new starting unit lineups, and generally improving them. For example, Cecilia now adds Front Line Fighter to Footmen and her beloved Shields of Order. But she is far from the only one getting some attention. You can read the whole changelog here
Could we be any more convincing? Probably notWork is also steaming ahead on our non-Steam versions. Both Songs of Conquest Mobile for iOS and updates to the Switch builds are well underway, and one of them is right around the corner. There is work being done on Android too, but one thing at a time. Even though this has taken time away from other projects, we want to feel proud of every version of our much-loved game out there, and bringing them all up to speed just feels better in our nerdy little hearts.
And now, for something completely different! And speaking of other projects, our charming little spinoff, Wielders of the Essence, has grown from the rough little tadpole it once was into a near-finished game. We’ve been playing quite a lot of it around the office lately, and we recently decided it was time to share a new demo. The new version has added difficulties, making sure that you can challenge yourself even after you’ve played through the entire demo. We also reworked the pacing, the spells, and the Wielders; come to think of it, we reworked just about everything.
