Watch some videos on Youtube first before plunging. These games made by Aegod, and there are a number of them are very much an acquired taste. You'll either love it for it's complexity, or hate it for the very same reason. Research first...sadly something many do not do before buying, then come here and complain it's not what they thought it would be.
Know what you're getting into mate.

This title is a grand strategy game made by Ageod. It a very complex game not recommended for a casual player. This is a thinkers game. You need to study the tutorials and the game itself and then play it otherway you won't have a clue about what you are doing. Its a marvelous game but made for long intensive, thinking games.

For clarification game World War 1 Centenial edition is the same as in the video (World War 1 Gold Edition) just with a lot of improved features.

Hard, but great, game. The only game that comes close to capturing the feel of WWI. I'm really excited to seee this game still in development.

Which are those playable 8 major factions?

You can play the grand campaign in either 2 players (Entente vs CP) or 4 players (two players on each side) mode. In each mode, any major of your side can be played (so among Germany, Austria-Hungary, France, Russia, Britain, Italy, Turkey and USA)...of course, as some countries do not join the war early on, the real action focuses on the main starting contenders.
