Dissapointing rewards for "The Beast"

In hungary there's an epic battle with a boss named "The Beast"

Liort's guide shows no direct Treasure linked to it, and I had already noticed that it is a tough fight, pretty much requiring another encounter ahead of it to easen it and replaces Hungary's other secondary treasure like the Sunken Cathedral in place, so I had assumed I'd be getting something else cool and worth it, like maybe a unique entourage member. "Adorable puppy" or "Viscious Attack Dog" or some sort depending on how you defeat him.

Instead, nothing. Yeah a bunch of campaign tokens, but if I hadn't taken the detour I did just to beat the Beast, I could easily have gathered just as many and I was really hoping a tough battle like that came with something more... tangible.

At least Transylvania's Frankenstein Boss means that all towns will then give you free supplies if you stop by... The Beast does EVEN less then that.

My suggestion is to give us a unique entourage member, or a treasure for the encounter.

Agreed, the beast is pretty subpar compared to the other epic boss encounters. When you consider that (spoiler names for other epic fights):


Boris
Giant ape
Chuckles
Zombie
Yeti

can all give treasure, it's very odd that the beast does not.

Just had the displeasure of fighting the Beast and it was pretty disheartening not get a treasure reward - especially given that the node indicated treasure there. No other treasure event in sight for the rest of the island either, so. :(

You can only get one extra secondary treasure questline per location. For example for Viking landing, you either get the cryptic tablet, the ancient battleground or the turf house, along with the main treasure for finishing the location.

For Hungary, it's either the Sunken Cathedral, Tomb of the Murderess, Boris the Bandit - which all give treasures - or the beast - which gives none.

This makes the Beast especially disheartening. Not only does the beast not give treasure, but it will prevent you from getting another treasure.
