I'd imagine it was in another mythical land (e.g. Shangri-La).
The Secret Shop is unlocked (for that playthrough) by one of the Research Papers in the Engineering brance. It's replaced New Orleans on the Hyperspeed Airship Research Paper.
As for it's physical location, it's in Greenland, so pack a jumper.
All the Best,
Welsh Dragon.
Nope, like Welsh Dragon said, it's when you get the research for Engineering done.
The location is listed as 'Lighthouse Point' for conjecture. Where that is is anyone's guess.
I cannot find it.
I do not see any mention of the secret shop in discussions, even though its on the download.
I do not see what items are in the secret shop listed anywhere.
I do have a 5th level rogue, but that seems incidental.
So seriously, Anybody found this thing yet?
Welsh Dragon, you say its in Greenland, you got proof? Wanna be first to list this stuff, screenshots?
I appreciate your help and time.
I'm still amazed no one has screenshots or a list of the new buyable epic trinkets.
Thank you again Black, you are a true explorer.
Now to just have this shop accessible on my world map.
Anyway, cheers and I'm going to try your Suh/Asian team combo out. Thanks!

Note that if you started your game before the patch that added the secret shop, you won't be able to access the secret shop in that game.
When BlackVision posted his guide, I asked if he meant "grit" where he had written "evasion". Turns out the game actually does say "evasion", so now I have to ask whether the game meant "grit" or if you actually need to get your dodge chance up to 80%...
