Why is such a good game ruined by such horrible glitches?

Just guessing, but... 1)When they were getting close to the release, they actually wanted to delay the release, but Steam didn`t give them another good release date and they thought they can still somehow pull it out? 2)They wanted to put it on EA, but were not allowed anymore? 3)They were getting low on funds to support the studio salaries, and had to release it asap?

Well I'm afraid I'll have to disagree!

We have an old saying going back many years here in United States.

It says: The squeaky wheel gets the grease

I'm sure you gather the meaning in the phrase.

So whining proves to be both beneficial and propitious.

I just don't understand it. How long is it going to take to make this game playable and operational? A week ? A month? Maybe next year sometime?

Its perfectly playable, I mean yes there are a metric ton of bugs, but it is playable.

No, I'm afraid it's not.

The Developer even acknowledged this to me in e-mail.

When you cannot save a game you cannot play....that's a simple fact.

You cannot progress .

This appears to be a highly complex situation which should have been worked out BEFORE release not after.

Now, you have customers like me who have purchased the product and cannot play because the game is defective.


That's fraud and it needs to be addressed.


I'm not going to be duped or swindled.


It's just that simple and I mean it!

Don't expect the situation to be fixed in a few minutes, you'll have to wait like everyone else. At least the developers reacted quickly and already released a first patch, the second one should come in a week. When you see big companies like Bioware and EA unable to fix Dragon Age Inquisition 4 months after its release, it's kinda admirable that a small studio like Shiver Games can react that quickly. Give them some time.

gltches are messy and make people unhappy.

This ism't just a glitch.

This game is unplayable..plainly and simply.

If a game was designed for the player to save a game and that feature is non-operational that means you can't play it...period

You can not play the game becuae you can not progress. The save function is broken completely and totallly!

Same here, not one problem with saves. I just made it to ludlow, in fact. Again the game does have a HUGE amount of bugs, but none that I've seen that break the game.

Not broken for me either. Buggy, sure, but not at all broken.

Well It's a total mystery to me why this is.

I've posted my stats.

All of them exceed the minimum requirements

All drivers are up to date

This is really likened to The Black Plague. Why did some people get it die and some others survived?

It took hundrreds of years to figure out why.

It required scientific research to answer the question.

This problem will require a huge investment in technical research which could mean that the answer is a long time away.

In my game,there is NO way to bypass this glitch whatsoever.


I've sent these developers my entire collection od Lucius II saved games.

I even told then WHEN the glitch starts (at what particular saved game)

You might think......Well ,just save onto the good game keep overwriting it perpetually.

It doesn't work.
