Game Crashing After Completing Scout Trial Skirmish
Whenever I complete the operation on the Scout Trial Skirmish, it goes to the completion stats page, I get the ZM Kar 8(g), but then the game crashes before it goes back to the book. I made a save shortly before completing the mission I've gone back to at least 5 times, and each time the crash occurred, with the screen going black and a window popping up saying "Valkyria Chronicles has stopped working."

I'm running the game on my laptop's native resolution of 1366x768 at 60 Hz, with V Sync off at 30 FPS. I am using keyboard and mouse to play. I have had a lot of problems with crashing with the game, especially rights after missions, but nothing has happened this consistently.

Hmm, personally never happened to me but I always play it on my home PC. I would stick it in windowed mode and try again, its most likely memory usage. If that doesn't work it always helps to varify your files in the library and dump any temp files the game may have left from previous saves (use something like CCleaner); doing that would remove any crud and you may have better luck, I doubt highly that its the game or a corrupted save. If that still doesn't work than really there's not much you can do but keep lowering the resolution until it stops, since you said it happens a lot for you I have to think its a memory issue, the game is pretty much hitting the ceiling and knocking itself out, what type of laptop are you using?

I had that exact same problem on the very first battle of the game. I completed the mission, it went to the completion screen, and then after pressing A to continue, the game just crashed to desktop.

I managed to fix the problem simply by verifying the game cache, and after doing the battle, the game now seems to be ok for now (I've made it to chapter 3 without a crash so far).

I'm running the game on my laptop at the exact same settings as the OP (except I'm using a controller). I tried running the refresh rate in the other setting (sorry, can't remember what the other setting is called), but doing this caused the game to run in slow motion, so I wouldn't recommend the other setting unless your PC or laptop can handle it.
