Marmotas End mission! can't get up to the ramp. BUG??
Playing the Marmotas End mission. Secound last. When you use a lancer yo fire at the hole on marmotas a ramp will fall down. that you will have to use to finish the mission. But the squad cant walk on the ramp. It´s like a invisible wall. Any one more have this problem. It sucks that you cant finnish the 5 % left of the game becuse of this.

Just drop your max framerate to 42 ( or whatever value there is ) in settings. That will help.

Thanks!

Seems to be a new bug, I just encountered this trying to get a Lancer up the ramp. Never had it happen before. Eventually did after some wiggling/run back/forward/left/right. Lost a lot of AP doing it though.

Edit: Tried the mission again to recreate it, came up again, but it seems pressing W and D at once goes at just the right angle to go through it without a problem. O.o;

Same problem here, and same fix: setting refresh rate limit at 50fps in game configuration. Still requires some fiddling, but with 30fps limit there ir no problem.

Probably is still possible to go up at 60hz, but after lots of tries (and frustration) did not manage to go up the ramp at 120hz, so this seems like a bug for abnormally high refresh rates.

Thanks for the solution Harukage.

At 72 FPS I found that when I was trying to move a unit up that ramp:

- on the lower part of the ramp (before the piece that falls), go along the "left" side of the ramp ("away" from the Marmota).
- when you get to the piece that fell, move "towards" the Marmota to the "right" side of the ramp.
- continue up the ramp.
- kill or possibly ignore that Imperial dog!

Consistently works for me. Haven't tried at a full 144 FPS but even if I put Caution and Defense Boost on Alicia with Resist Crossfire triggered, I might be scared of the interception fire at that framerate (probably not really).

I could not go up when playing at 120hz, no matter what direction or strategy i tried (wasted about 3-4 Scout turns just to make sure, both with keyboard and controller), at 60hz or near it is quite doable with the strategy you describe above.

In fact, when i played at 60hz yesterday I finally figured out the route you draw was the only one that consistently worked. At 30fps you can go in a straight line and everything works as intended, but the game feels really choppy, even if it's only for a single mission.

Seems like collision in that point was implemented in a way that works bad with high refresh rates, and it reaches a point when its just humanly impossible to bypass that little annoying bug.

Many thanks for the info and explanation, I'm sure that will help some buds that do not want to play at 30fps

I have tried everything and this BUG continues, another possibility is to use PENETRATION order and destroy the reactors, it is the only other way.

The video shows this strategy.

Holly man, never thought order can be so overpowered and used this way.
