How to get Marina?

Marina is supposedly the best sniper in the game,a class which I found myself most frequently using. So I searched the net and they said that I have to input a code to unlock Marina,but I'm not sure where to put the code in. Any help?

She just appears randomly among new recruits. I had her among my first recruits. Anyway she is hard to master since she love to go all alone.

For me she was in the first roster, too. Just keep playing and after each story mission, check the Command Room. Alternatively, you can save right before you unlock the headquarters and keep reloading and checking. Supposedly, each time you get different rolls for the characters in the Command Room when you first unlock it and chances are you eventually get Marina.

The 'input code to unlock marina' thing is for the second game, not this one.
