PS3 or PC?
For the ones that might've also played the original ps3 release, is this port worth it for a first-timer? A friend could lend me his copy for the ps3 version, but I'm not sure if I should play it on the ps3 or go for the pc port. Are the keyboard-mouse good, is there anything that's clearly better in any of the versions or anything of the sort?

Keyboard and mouse work well for me. Using a Tank is slightly finky but then again it wasn't easy to drive around on the PS3 either, slightly more complicated with mouse/keyboard. But the only thing about Mouse/Keyboard I do not like is there is no button to hold down to switch to walk mode. Walking is bound to a completely different set of movement keys.

Outside of that I think Mouse/Keyboard works well for what it is needed for. I'm surprsied it works as well as it does really. Similar to Resident Evil 4 HD, I was surprised how well Mouse/Keyboard worked on it as well. Despite all that Haters are going to Hate Regardless.

It is suggested to turn mouse sensitivity up though. I set it to 80.

Seriously use the PC the grahics are I'm not even kidding you, 100% better then the prerednered cinematics if you can run it on 1080p60. Most people can't it doesn't have very high requirments.

If you only intend to play the game once, you could probably get away with borrowing your friends copy, although you won't be able to access all of the dlc which is included in the steam release.....or use mouse and keyboard :P

If you know you are going to enjoy it, I'd probably just fast track the process and buy it on steam.

kb&M are all fully rebindable, as well as controller...
cutscenes and some pre rendered stuff is the same as ps3
gameplay on PC looks waaaay better though, which is the part that matters imo
PC has all the DLC, but you should it 1st, no point in having dlc to a game u dont like

While playing it looks and run much better on PC, however the cutscenes look like the old ones, and its a big difference.

IMO the PC version is the better version for obv reasons, newer + dlc BUT Id suggest you play it first on the PS3 and see if you would dig it enough to go through the game and all the dlcs and warrant a PC purchase

Dont know about the PS3 version (dont have a ps3) but the game runs fine on PC.

1. Higher resolution
2. Higher FPS.
3. Dont feel any loading times (dont know how the loading times are on PS3)

Haven't tested the kb/m controls because im using a controller.
I really wanted the games since I really loved the cartoon and gameplay was just what I was looking for after watching some. So the gameplay and story are superb, if you dont care about those three points I mentioned just borrow the PS3. If you want to support the devs for them to roll out other console exclusives to PC buy this. The price is set really good for such a great game, if you like tactical games you will probably love it.

There's reason to go with PS3 version over PC. PC version has really low requirements, and it's simply the better version overall.

Load times on pc are much shorter. You will notice a difference.

For the time being I would wait for a few more patches. I haven't played the PS3 but the game on PC is certainly rough at the moment.

What's so rough besides the one well known HQ crash in Ch. 3?

4k/60fps is best.

I remember in PS3 loading times with the game installed being 10-15 seconds during the game. In the PC the longest one is of 7-10 during startup and 2-4 seconds in gameplay.

Controls are functional, but could be improved. Some buttons have multiple actions bound to the same thing, and some make no sense (http://steamcommunity.com/app/294860/discussions/0/620696934126252479/#c624074849599848491)

For aiming though, the mouse is absolutely wonderful.

If you have a gamepad, the controls would be identical to the console version, but as a bonus (if you have the PC to run it) you can downsample from 4K and have 60FPS. The game looks so much better.. aside from the pre-rendered 720p30 cutscenes.

Oh and the load times.. what load times? The PS3 version had long load times; there's almost no waiting on PC. I mean hell, the game saves instantly, I thought it wasn't even working when I first saved.

PC. I actually like using the mouse and keyboard for this. As for the low requirements, let's put it like this. I get 60fps easy on this game with one GT 750M laptop GPU, which is like half the power of a GTX 560.
