So she's intended for new game+ only?
You can get her in your first playthrough but probably not until close to the end. Take a look at the global achievement completion percentages. The most common achievements are usually also the easiest.
If you grind skirmishes until you kill 1000 enemies, you can get Audrey by the time you beat level 11 (with an A rank and without losing anyone).
- The Crimson Heart (call a medic)
- The Lance of Gallia (kill an ace)
- The Splintered Horn (let a character who has his hidden potential die)
- Order of the Holy Lance
- Order of the Holy Shield
- Gallian Medal of Honor (beat chapter 9)
- Fouzen Service Medal (beat chapter 10)
- Naggiar Service Medal (beat chapter 14)
- Ghirlandaio Service Medal (beat chapter 15)
- The Bronze Arms of Gallia (kill 250 enemies)
- The Silver Arms of Gallia (kill 500 enemies)
Depending if you grind or not for the 500 kills, Audrey should be easily unlocked at chapter 15 or 16.
I make a point of keeping the troop skill levels eqyual to the chapter number, and try to keep the snipers one or two levels higher, and then make a push to get my scouts, shocktroopers and snipers to Elite status by mission 8a/8b. Doing that had me close to the 500 mark shortly after mission 9 or 10.
I suppose I'm saying it is less tedious to grind for XP than just for kills, since you don't get access to your stats until game+.
i'm still trying to work out the fastest method of max kills missions, since it's the only last medal left for me.
how do you think, whether the Naggiar Showdown 2 chapter mission would be great for killing, as it has the source of unlimited enemy spawn, so each turn you can kill six enemies at lowest. i've just started trying this way to optimize squad member placement for more effective kills.
Deploy troopers (or scouts with DLC rifles), kill everything except the enemy ace. Position your units where reinforcements arrive each turn (and keep outside of the ace range) and just keep skiping turns (pressing only 2 buttons every now and then).
Naggiar 2 isn't bad but there are a lot of things that will slow down the process compared to Edy's trooper skirmish (enemy reinforcement appear at the begining of enemy turn, enemy stops as soon as hit and shoot, enemy has lancers (they target your tanks and no counter-attack to kill if they target and hit your infantry), the enemy tank boss you leave alive may start moving (and it's a slow moving), you have to go through the mortaring from the boss each turn, and you may have to do killing/healing/repairing during your own turns).
In fact, there are exactly 10 medals available before you clear the Fouzen missions, so if you want Audrey, that is the earliest she can join. Due to the slow grind of 1000 kills, you might instead want to get the Fouzen medal as you 10th for Audrey.
Fouzen, IMO, does not have a lot of need for Lancers... unless they can do certain trick shots, I'll have to check. So, because of the relatively low need for them, Audrey isn't a priority... Jann is a good substitute for her anyway.
