Anyone planning to use cheats with the game?

Already beat this thing to 100% completion long ago on console and just plan to use trainers and mods to beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of levels that annoyed me.

anyone else playing PC version just to cheat your way through it?

Nah, the game is so easily broken that cheats are pretty much pointless.
You can have all your squads at Max Level by midgame if you grind the Skirmish Maps a bit.
Most of them can be completed in 1-2 min if you abuse Alicias Scout Skills and some Orders.

I Prefer to cheat "legally" that way. Exploiting game mechanics not using external programs.
But that is just me. ;P

The point of using cheats IS TO break the game and get the sense of having god mode and just toying with some bosses or whatever that pissed you off when you first played the game.

Even without cheats the game was easily broken if you could just do the skirmishes in only 1 to 2 turns.

I abused the hell out of skirmish 8 by doing it in only 1 turn using Alicia and the Shamrock to get an easy 56kxp every 3minutes. In one day I already maxed out all of the characters and bought most of the upgrades.

Abusing Alicia how? So far, I haven't found much use in scouts yet. They're squishy and shoot what may as well be spitballs at the enemy

later on you can have orders to make her tanky as hell, and she gains skills that heal herself automatically and prevent even more dmg. She's able to go all the way to the flag relatively unharmed on certain maps.

Once scouts are upgraded they sometimes become your main force because unlike the other classes they all don't have a ton of negative effects and their skills make them easy to support one another. The map with the WW1 tranches and "no mans land" I wiped out half the enemy in just 2 turns and was already at the main base using only scouts with my lancer ready to one shot the tank there on the next turn and cap it.

also later in the game you get some rifles that are OP as hell

Cheathappens sells trainers and I know they have a trainer for the game.

just putting that out there for ya because some free trainers from gamecopyworld can be questionable at times.
