Will the ps3 game get a trophy patch ?

My thoughts exactly. They did it with MGS4 several years later, so it's definitely possible for a game to suddenly patch in trophies. I mean, they apparently implemented achievements into the PC version so I couldn't imagine it taking a lot of work.

If the PS3 version gets a patch, I will eat multiple hats. Extremely unlikely.

If they did I'd whip out VC from my trophy case just to play it. (Again for the millionth time)

I seriously doubt it will get patched. It costs money to get a new version certified and it's not going to result in extra PS3 copies being sold. They don't really have an incentive to do so.

This. It's extremely unlikely and it won't result in any extra money being made so there's no point. It would cost more money to do it than it's worth.

Also a big difference between this and MGS4 is that the trophy patch was put in not too long before they re-released the game in bundles so it was generating revenue for them.

They have to pay Sony if they intend to release updates for games so if it's a game as old as this, it really isn't worth it for them (especially considering the game is sitting around in stores for as low as £8. I actually saw some copies when I was in a local game store today for that much used)
