Why is Edy so popular?
This just gets me intrigued. I never used her while playing VC, she has Panicky and Rosie Hater, both potentials that lower her attack (something you definitely don't want for a Shocktrooper). To be honest she's one of the worst Shocktroopers in the game, and I can't even see the charm in her personality either.

But yet, I realised not only Edy takes the lead role in Edy's Detachment DLC, she also makes a cameo appearance in VC2 story mode where her sister is a playable character too, and I just found she also appears in VC3 story mode as a fixed member of Squad 7! :O

So what's the reason for her being so popular, did the anime do anything splendid that made her such a beloved character or something?

I also enjoy Largo/Jann. Jann is hilarious.

Jane is the psycho. Marina is just a little flitty when it comes to cute things. I think the voices fit most all the characters. I think the voice acting fits Jann's character verry well putting him around the top.

From what I've seen in chats Wendy seems to be the top choice. But then again it's only like 20 so people. Sorry Edy. All your fans are just figments in your mind.

Jann's voice actor is John DiMaggio, famous for voicing Bender on Futurama. No wonder he sounds great!

I'm surprised at how many people pick the side characters as their favorites :P Alicia will always be my most used, she's the best.

Well, Alicia is a story driven character, in many missions you have to use her, even if it were just for the extra CP. But amongst the non-story characters it seems Marina is the most beloved character since she's a must-have for almost everybody although nobody is forced to use her.

There's another discussion on Steam about who's your favorites. Marina seems to be the top pick for sniper. Everyone saying she's the best shot and such. I've found Oscer's kid brother to be the best. At least on my computer. Maybe it's diffront for everyone.

Alicia, Largo and Rosie seem to have hinden bonuses. Because trying the same stuff with other characters seem to get them killed. At least with my games. Would've been nice if they made it so you could have others be the non coms instead of those three. Of cause you'd have to make a second storyline for that.

I actually dislike Marina... I find the 'lone wolf edgy sniper' character a little too overdone. Plus I love my Oscar/Emile duo.

I really like Freesia. She's cute, got a fun attitude, and kicks ass in the desert levels.

I played the game using englsih voice, cuz I it's dubbed nicely imo, but her voice was so terrible, I stopped using her after few chapters lol

I really like Edy. She'll always be my second scout after Alicia. :3

I don't know about her English voice since I haven't heard it, but her Japanese one is just fine.^^
