It's up to you, I usually always prefer the original (Japanese) to be the core and best experience but there may be a few minor misinterpretations with the subs (nothing major). If you also don't mind reading the dialogue either, it's a win.

It's been a habit of mine that usually and mostly, anything that's dubbed with english VA's tend to be cringe-worthy or just unfitting and ruins the mood or character for me (there are a few exceptions but usually for me, I avoid english).

Obviously, in the end, it's all about your preferences and what you think is more enjoyable/fitting. :PinkContent:
I find that sometimes the Lip-Sync for English seems to be horrible. Like I had parts where the character said "let's do this" and his mouth continued to move for another 10 seconds or so.

Well, since I have seen the anime first I prefer Japanese. Cant get over the english dub, its not bad, but I am used to hearing their original voices.

If you prefer watching anime in Japanese with English subs, I might suggest you play the game with Japanese voicing. However, the subtitles were not transcribed for Japanese, so if you happen to know some Japanese words, you'll notice that the English subtitles are very different from what's actually being said. Personally, I can't take it.

I recommend Japanese voices all the way. English dub ruins some characters.

While I watch Japanese voiced anime, I preferred the English voiced version of the game because it seems more in tune with the setting of the game (Europe). Also for some reason, I find that Asian languages' pitch sound higher to me than Western languages (even when spoken by the same person). I don't know if it is just me, but the higher voice acting didn't seem to be 'rough' enough to fit the military theme.

The acting is superior. Emotions are delivered better, etc so on. English voice acting is dull.

Everytime I would check youtube for a video on something I was stuck on, it would be in English and it was cringeworthy.

Thats called being a "Weeaboo" By most peoples standards

Some of the best dubs include: Code Geass (The creators themselves said it was better in the dub) Death Note. It got most of its popularity from the dub/ Eureka Seven, is FAR better in the dub, (Examples being Holland's voice)

WARNING SPOILERS FOR NORAGAMI!

My favourite japanese voice actor would have to be Yūki Kaji [The voice of Eren Jager and Yukine] Every other voice actor sounds the same. [Not to mention Japan has a fu*cking school for voice acting, that's why they usually sound the same.]

I went through the game in English. I loved the game that way, and the voice acting was good enough. Also, I'd rather hear Welkin yelling "Squad 7, move out!" than some gibberish.
