Achievements not working

Hey, so I decided to fire up this game having started it years ago and dropped it. It's a great game, but achievements don't appear to be working. I'm only chapter 5, but should have the achievements for The Crimson Heart & The Lance of Gallia. I've defo recovered a fallen soldier with a medic, but no chievo.

Any ideas why?

Nevermind, they all pop when I went into command room.

This game already had that sort of achievement system before trophies were a thing, but they would only unlock when visiting Cordelia.
