Go on the I will wait. Straight ports are common as ♥♥♥♥. The fact that any of you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ actually believe Sega would remake ot is laughable.
I mean FFS look at Valkyria Chronicles itself. Its laughably low res in plain view and that was PS3 game to start. Where is the "port" there? Or are you doing exactly what you look like you are doing and talking out your ass because you seem to misunderstand the difference between porting and remaking something.
Everyone do yourself a favor and just emulate it.
PS: Japan is a country, not one company. Just because there are a fair amount of bad PC ports, doens't mean there ain't good ones.
But I'm not sure what magic you expect out of straight ports.
im not sure if your being stupid or not........................
u have used ppsspp before right? u know you can adjust the resolution right?
im playing VC2 RIGHT NOW on a 54' tv screen on max setting with added higher textures packs included. The games in full screen at a high resolution............
so whats so bad about the emulation exactly?
1) I can actually play the game
2) its emulated perfectly
3) i get dozens of options to mess with (more than i would normally)
4) i can add higher texture packs
5) u can do things like speed up sections or slow sections down
i can go on but i honestly fail to see what your problem is with the way its run. Its like your complaining because you purchased a car and your upset you cant run it on p**s just because a tv show said you can do it
wow...........u do know sega dont spend a lot of money on their pc ports right? dont get me wrong there not as bad as crapcom who honestly just dont give a s**t and leave games a ported mess even after several years (RE4/5/6, DR2/3/4 etc etc) but sega themselves have pretty much said before that they dont have much money anymore and thats why alot of crap never gets ported to the pc like the ONLY decent sonic game anymore - AKA sonic colors - which works PERFECTLY on the wii emulator btw.........or r u going to claim that doesnt work right either?
When basic emulators do better on PC then the official release theres a problem but its all too common. Which is why I said earlier that I can guarantee any "port" of VC2 and VC3 will be inferior to emulating them. Remakes could be better but then whatshisname wanted to argue with me.
Oh that Dolphin emulator is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BEAUTIFUL. And it comes with built in upscaling, smoothing, speed hacks and patches, mod and cheat support without any additional downloading. Just amazing. Not even Wii U plays Wii games better. And even then theres no Gamecube support. Just wonderful. Those guys deserve money
I think the fact you can play VC2 via an emulator AND that vc3 has an english patch (which i cant find anywere....that nico website it claims its on is full of virus's) PROVES just how lazy and how stupid sega have become
u can play VC2 perfectly and yet sega..............dont seem to want to make money and release it on steam............yet there mega drive games on steam RUN via an emulator...........so why cant they just configure VC2 and 3 to run via an adjusted emulator like how all there mega drive games run on steam?
sega want and need to make money, the option is there, they dont take it = WHY?
Well then play on emulator, but I was talking about VC1, which is a good port. The game runs fine, the controls work well and the load times are completely gone, nevermind that the DLC was included. That said I wouldn't mind a VC2 and 3 release on steam as a regular old port just to have it. But who cares really, PSPs are pretty cheap and so are those VC2 and 3, alternatively PPSSPP runs on a toaster.
Not sure why anyone would expect anything but straight ports of any of this though, that's what a port is. The only benefit for the PSP games would be adjusted controls (possibly an official translation and dub for 3, but we all know that won't happen beyond the artbook), but those are already pretty good on PSP as is and frankly the games look decent even with upscaling. Not VC1 good, but still good. The maps with Lanseal in the background for example are pretty cool.
You are aware that the patch has a homepage with a download link for the patch, right? All of 2 seconds of googling.
VC4 aka Valkyria Revolution received surprisingly low scores.
