If you unpacked by drag and dropping mxe onto valkyrieedit.exe in explorer - that's not how you use the program, you need to run it from command line (cmd or powershell) with appropriate parameters and switches.
E X C I T E M E N T !
So, can you change enemy placement with it? Balance? Everything?
BTW what table editor are you using? as far as i have seen Excel messes up things. And editing in notepad is tedious.
Valkedit will mess up reading some records regardless of editor, you have to manually fix them to have correct field count/content.
DoomyDoom old egg, doesn't your 'qol' mod fix this kind of thing?
Also (perhaps you can help as I'm wanting to mod VC before playing and have gone off using Gallian Crossfire and Imperial Onslaught bc cut scenes with possibly dead characters and have decided on the aforementioned qol fixes), is it really necessary to run the game at 1280×720 and a framerate to 30 fps to ensure units can evade properly, as per the game's pcwiki?
DOUBLE also, I watched a vid of a chap explaining how he thought increased shadows 'messed' up command mode but have been unable to find any supporting evidence re images etc. Any opinion re this? Thank you in advance, DoomyDoom.
