Game Won't Launch

Anyone else running into issues with launching this game after the library update on 2019.10.30?

Worked then it didn't no other changes. I can still get to configuration changes but the game itself never starts up.

Tried clearing Steam's cache and reinstalling Steam. Haven't reinstalled VC out of fear of losing saves and progress. (i.e., Ruhm)

Not having any problems with running VC, but I can tell you that your saves are in savedata folder inside game installation, so you can just copy that and experiment away. I've been routinely changing save sets in VC for three or so years, it just works.

That's very kind and relieved some stress in trying to reinstall. Alas, it still hangs when trying to launch.

I got this game awhile back and just getting around to playing it, I am running across the same issue in that it won't launch .... normally, if I go through the configuration and hit the play button the game launches normally, although I cant play 1080p on a 4k monitor as it looks windowed is the only other weirdness, is this normal? I verified the game files and it came out ok, if I double click on Valkyria.exe it does not launch, only through the launcher.

Cant seem to launch it in any res mode in fullscreen,. It HOWEVER seems to work in windowed mode.

how did you set it to windowed? my game (and launcher) both open and instantly minimise, and you can't unminimise them :l
