The game will not launch
I've been having this issue only starting around 2 weeks ago where the game will not launch. it says "Preparing to launch Valkyria Chronicles", it goes away and the circle next to my mouse stops turning. Only just today did I see a thing from Windows mentioning it in the bottom right. I've tried reinstalling the game, verifying the game files and changing Steam versions but have been unable to find a solution. It makes no sense and nothing changed between the day it worked and the one it did not. I've peen playing through this game on my channel but have been unable to continue after chapter 13 and I want to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ see what happened to Alicia and this has made me so mad. Any help would be much appreciated.

If you are playing on a laptop, try to force it to run on your discrete graphic card instead of integrated graphic. I have played it on three desktops without problem, so it won't hurt to see if you can lend one to test.

Nah, I'm on desktop my dude, Geforce GTX 960
Have you tried starting it after a clean boot? I've been having trouble performing the first time setup, ran it after a clean boot it started up fine. I then restarted the computer with a normal boot and it is still running fine.

What do you mean exactly by clean boot?

I mean start up your computer without applications loading at boot up. Click on your Windows button and type in msconfig. This should open up the System Configuration. Under the General tab, there is an option for Selective Startup. Uncheck the Load Startup items(or you can go the Startup tab and click disable all) and restart the computer. As I stated you can come back and recheck them afterwards.

Okay, dude, you are my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hero haha, I opened the game multiple times to make sure it ran successfully and it does, I'll probably only use clean boot because my computer starts so much faster w/ out the apps launching. Thank you so much man
