Demo Ver 0.5.15 Dev Log

Since the release of Demo version 0.5, we have received tons of community feedback and optimization suggestions. Our team would like to once again express our sincere gratitude for the support and passion from all our esteemed Directors. To provide a better experience, we are now rolling out the following updates for Demo version 0.5.15:

1. Now supports online multiplayer functionality between both Windows and Mac systems.

2. Other optimizations and fixed bugs

Added pop-up notifications for multiplayer invites.
The 'Local Join' button is hidden while playing in online multiplayer mode.
Fixed an issue where Challenges were not marked as completed if the player scored exactly the required points.
Fixed an issue where Maxim's animations would occasionally sink into the ground.
Fixed an issue in the tutorial level where hair dropped after a haircut could appear in incorrect positions.
Fixed an issue where the Sweep icon did not display during online multiplayer sessions.
Fixed a bug where players were occasionally unable to perform the sweeping action.
Fixed an issue with the unlocking logic for Challenges.
Fixed a bug where other players would freeze if the host suddenly quit the game.
Fixed an issue where, under weak network conditions, the game could get stuck on the loading screen and fail to refresh even after the internet connection was restored.
Fixed a bug where, after completing a game in online multiplayer, kicking a player out and re-entering a level could cause the game to become stuck on the loading screen.
Fixed an issue where players could get stuck on the main menu after accepting a team invite from the login screen.
Fixed an issue where players could not join local multiplayer after being kicked from an invited online multiplayer room.
Fixed a bug where the fourth player's name and exit button would occasionally not display.
Fixed an issue where entering a level could occasionally load the wrong scene.
Fixed an issue where inviting additional friends while already in a created team with friends caused incorrect pop-up behavior.
Fixed various issues in online multiplayer that caused icon shaking, misalignment, and other visual glitches.
Fixed an issue in online multiplayer where customers occasionally would not sit in their seats.
Fixed an issue in online multiplayer where the progress bar for 'Shaving' was displayed incorrectly.
Fixed a bug in online multiplayer where characters could teleport short distances by rapidly clicking the dash button after being grabbed mid-dash.
Fixed an issue where throwing distances were inconsistent in certain online multiplayer situations.
Fixed an issue where sound effects played abnormally in certain online multiplayer scenarios.

No Multiplayer in Demo?

I get not including online multiplayer in the demo, but is there no local co-op either? At least there doesn't seem to e any indication of it. I suppose I'll just have to wait for the full game.

The 3 branches from the last version are closed temporarily. However, we’re excited to present you with 3 new stores, each filled with new challenges!

Chic Forward: Watch your step on the escalator!
Abandoned Lab: Ya know, haircare is not just a human thing.
Frostfang Tribe: Brrrrrrrrr!

We noticed that the difficulty gap between Normal and Hard is too large. That’s why we decided to replace them with different Challenges for you to tailor your play experience. Completing challenges also gives you Challenge Tokens!

What are Challenge Tokens for? Well, they’ll definitely come in handy when the game officially launches. For now, isn’t collecting them just fun? :D

Staff Changes:

Is there a cat in the salon?
Tony has a new look.
Nicole is on vacation.
Each character still has their area of expertise but no longer has a weakness.

Added new language options: Korean, Thai, Vietnamese.
Added new tasks: massage, shaving, barbecue, and more!
The action “smack” now uses the same key as “throw”.
Added more steps to the tutorial.
Optimized most of the out-of-level interface backgrounds.
Optimized the overall display of UI and UIFX.
Optimized info display and operation steps for level selection.
Optimized textures for objects and improved the quality of key models.
Optimized models and rendering for character skins, outfits, and hair.
Optimized character animation when doing different tasks.

Demo feedback

The difficult levels are way too hard. My friend had really tried hard to get three stars for the last level, but I think it's nearly impossible. I really enjoy playing this game and looking forward to see the adjustment of the difficulty><

Demo feedback

I played with a friends using remote play (after realising that it was in fact a option). We were able to get three stars in each of the normal levels, but the hard ones the difficulty ramped out way too high. The first level we got one star, the others we couldn't even get that. Maybe if it was a full party of 4 we could have managed, but that's the only way I could see it happening....
