to change jobs every tick for 10 ticks in a row, which caused an error. Twice.

If Sam is the mech, then it is possible that trying to change jobs so often has caused an the NullReferenceException when

Could be a bug - check the log for "Object reference not set to an instance of an object at Verse.AI.Group.Lord.LordTick ()" entries. Note that I have no clue
how to fix that if that's the cause of your problem.
