Was about to come here and ask for help when I discovered the solution and wanted to share. Running quite a few mods and google land indicated other folks having problems with
As Alpha Animals was last mod I loaded (and this bug occured shortly after Alpha mod addition, 1 week game time)..Suspect Alpha Animals and Orions Hopitality mods together has a bad interaction.

Hey all,
I hope I'm not posting this at the wrong place. Im playing rimworld at the latest update with mods that "should" be compatible with that version. I am getting this error approx. 4-5 hrs into

this error pop up over 1000 times until it stops:

"System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at Verse.AI.Group.LordManager.LordManagerTick () [0x00034] in
progression of the event never ends. For example during a Leader Speech it will read "Ending in 2 hours" under status but they will not stop talking/dancing/attending ETC, I checked the logs and I keep seeing

This line is in the error log,
when the game comes to generating stars, it says there is an error in it
and I cannot load on mods.
What should I do?

similarly, i get this object reference message when trying to perform a dated ritual. all other rituals perform fine, only the dated one fails to trigger the start

And ive found the cause to be that when an injured pawn lays down it ♥♥♥♥♥ with their pawn somehow and causes the error.

When I try to interact with a downed pawn, I cannot, and the log message shows the following error:
