1.5 not available yet ?
The game updated but it still says it's version 1.4.39.

1.5 officially comes out with the DLC next month.

you can play the 1.5 beta dev branch for rimworld by right clicking on rimworld in your library, select properties, go to betas and selecting the 1.5 beta there, it will update and you can play the 1.5 version.

Remember ... this breaks all your mods that aren't updated to 1.5 yet.
