biotech genes skin color question

how come we cant add a base skin color like normal white, tan or black to a genotype? you have the ability to do different, natural hair colors but not skin colors, why?

Why do you think? Today it is cool to hate people based on skin color. Especially the kind that is western. Its like we have not learnt anything from history. The devs most likely do not dare to include it because of the "backlash" it can produce.

It also allow the hysteria to become worse. Sure. Keeping your head down is the "safest" option right at that moment. But what world does it leave behind when you have made it clear that there will be no pushback as you rather want to keep your head down?

Wait, I thought you could add different skin colours? I would have to start up the game to double check, but I'm fairly certain that there is the same blurb for hair colour as there is for skin colour: When different options are inherited, one at random is picked. Or somesuch thing like that.

Yes, but he's saying there's no option for normal skin colours, only exotic alien colors, but the hair has regular human colors.

I kinda did notice it, but I usually just make all my pawns sheer white anyway, just in the spirit of the Irish.

I find that all the racial xeno skincolors in this game have some insulting names:
Sheer white (calling Whites pale), ink black (calling blacks "colored", basically), banana yellow (you guessed it) etc.

Tynan is the ultimate racist - he hates all races, even the good ones .
