After birth, the newborns have all the genes of the xenotype, but are listed as "baseliner", not the name of the xenotype.
fortunately I do not have a preferred xenotype in my ideology.
Yea I was able to implant early in the run and then not anymore.
I did find a temp jank fix. Turn on DEV mode. Pause game. Set Xenotype -> dirtmole (no others allowed this had to be specifically dirtmole) -> set xenotype -> baseliner. Queue the action to implant genes. Dev Mode remove dirtmole gene. Unpause game.
If their action gets interupted before they implant you will have to restart the process and make them dirtmoles again, but this way the run isnt scrapped for me. It worked on both converting the captured baseliner and the child to have the proper genes.
Go on dev mode, add red eyes to the endogenes and then implant, remove the red eyes after.
Mabye another workaround there... spawn in the archite capsules an just make the xenogerms.
