Creepy joiners bad stuff
How many bad things can a creepy joiner have (things specific to creepy joiners)?

What I've seen are:
Decaying organs
No eyes (typically the healer)
Dark mumblings that debuff everyone

I have not witnessed but heard from others multiple times that they could come with the metal horror parasite, though that's any joiner really.

I have also watched a stream where one just decided to up and leave the colony.

They can suddenly go hostile, specially on mental breaks, if you react, and they can call in sightstealers to attack the colony too, don't know if they can do anything else.

Granted, when they acted up I shocked their brains with a psyshock lance, re-recruited them and they were (mostly) fine afterwards, one of them turned hostile again when he got enraged and someone hit him back again.

I have gotten only 3 of them so far in my game and all 3 times they just up and left the colony after around a year or so. Instead of letting them leave, I arrested them and then recruited them like any other prisoner and they've been part of the colony ever since.

I am a bit disappointed that all I saw was the same outcome for all 3. I'd have liked to see something different.

Also, I want to clarify on the point @Gal Kraft made about "no eyes" for the healer. That's not actually an outcome, that's just the standard state for the "Blind Healer" which is one of the types of creepjoiners. You'll get some other thing for the actual outcome over time if you recruit the blind healer.

if had someone that was normal but sometimes lets out a shrill shrek that induces pain in people ow and brainrot people that join and then get the decaying mind d buff only way to avoid that is healer mech serum...

The Unnatural healing ability of the blind healer should also be able to cure it as well if the mech serum can, according to the wiki. It says that ability heals everything that a healing mech serum does.

didn't know that never had a healer that lasted long enough for a second guy to show up.....

Yah, it's an awesome ability. The blind healer is the first creepjoiner I got in my current playthrough, really early too, and she's single handedly kept the colony in tip-top shape, regrowing lost limbs and what-not.

I gave her an archotech eye after getting one as a quest reward so she's also one of my best doctors now rather than blind at this point.

Sadly they cannot heal themselves. And yeah I figured blind was strictly a healer thing, thanks for the confirmation.

mental agonie is another negative. They have regular outbreaks which puts all pawn in an area around them to the ground for like 5 seconds. Then they have a lot of pain for a couple days.
And the dark studie guys go and free your entities on a regular basis.
