Vanilla Prosthetic hand?

Is that a thing below Spacer (and royalty dlc)? I have with Industrial tech the prosthetic arm (decent, 85% efficiency) but I see nothing about a hand?

There's only a wooden hand without mods I believe.

The Arm includes the hand. It is a bit weird that you have to replace the whole arm to fix a missing hand, but I can see the reasoning behind it. If you had a prosthetic available for every body part you could lose, you'd end up with hundreds of extra items.

Still, I feel like hand could have been separated from arm, much like peg legs and wooden feet.

Power Claw is your closest bet for hand only, but are trader only unless you have Royalty and get the techprint. But they're kinda more meant to act as a body weapon rather than a mere replacement.

Arm prosthetic replaces hand as well. Much as leg one replaces the ankle and foot too. It is very much the "Eh mate, you're missing a finger, let's just replace everything from shoulder down, just to be sure" approach.

Pretty sure field hands also replace hands along with power claw. Can also just replace the whole arm with a bionic or something.

The forearm is indispensable, as everything in it runs through the wrist into the hand, actuating even individual fingers indirectly... like pulling strings on a puppet. But you'd think and archotech could build a stand alone hand if "Its internal workings are a mystery to all human minds".

You can always add mods that do it. However then you also see why it isn't done that way in vanilla. There is so many MANY option that you can't find the one you want.
You should also try to replace it with a bionic. It is better than a regular arm/hand. Why not improve the pawn while you are at it?
