Multiple stealth patches since release?
Since the release of Anomaly the game seems to keep getting mini patches but there is no patch descriptions anywhere I could find. I assume there are bug fixes but still it would be very helpful to know what was fixed.

Does anybody know here to find any info about it by any chance?

I would guess bug fixes or code optimization.
Did you check the Discord where all the bugs are discussed?
Ravenlord Apr 16, 2024 @ 11:03am
likely mod updates, assuming you are using mods...

Mods are constantly being updated, so probably this? The download queue only shows that Workshop item(s) were updated, but doesn't say which. I'd recommend a mod like this to show you which mods have recently updated on restart...

There has been at least one patch to the game itself too, and unlike when steam shows (game) but means (mod) the updates tab of the game's properties in steam will only show when it last updated the actual game.

Very likely as stated that they are mods being updated from the workshop.

I got one or two patches related to the game itself.

All details are on Rimworld development discord, you can literally join and read them.

SInce Anomaly's release there have been two updates to the GoG version (which has no workshop, ergo no mods updated through this mechanism) and the version listed there is now '1.5.4066 rev819' (without changelog), whereas on the Wiki only the release version '1.5.4062' is listed.

So, yes, stealth patches. Nice to know that those with a fourth-party account are privileged enough to read the patch notes. ... Anything interesting in there, while we're at it?

I've never downloaded a mod for RimWorld (I know!), and there have been several (very small) updates.

One can always follow this:

my previous post has the last two changelogs, they can be found on the "RimWorld Official Development Discord" from the pinned post in the steam discussions here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/294100/discussions/0/4357870314539398296/

The version number on the wiki isn't always up to date, you can sometimes click on it and then click on next update.

https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Version/1.5.4063

The 4063 is the number of days since development started. Current live version is 4066, I don't see any notes for it, might have been inconsequential or they haven't posted it yet.

Edit: Ninja'd by a few minutes. =p

Yep. Anytime there is an update, I go to the workshop, click "subscribed items" and then list in order of most recently updated. Every time thus far something rises to the top of that list.

Steam doesn't differentiate in the telling between updating a game and updating mods for that game. You have to investigate it yourself.

So yes, you are absolutely correct.

So, I see the blog post from the 18th but on GoG there is no patch. I presume over here there was one and it will arrive there in a few days - would someone be so kind as to post its version number? (Patch notes need not be included, as those are in the blog post this time... oddly enough.)

Mightily confusing to read "Today’s update" with no version number and not find any of the features in-game (or, for that matter, any download, after two downloads without post, which obviously are not the same patch, containing different changes).
